As a collector of antique arms for over 50 years, I never assume that my knowledge about them is complete - I am always learning new facts. My blog is intended to share some of the knowledge that I have acquired over the years and hopefully make it interesting at the same time. I have always been attracted to items where there is an element of history to be researched for either the item or its owner(s). This has led me to an interest in history with my knowledge swelled by specific research. Future posts will include many snippets of history and a diverse range of topics.
